What’s Hot and What’s Not
I thought I would add a blog whenever I purchase some new magic effects and let the magicians out there know if it is worth buying. That is if you value my opinion as a magician. I just purchased 3 new magic effect last week from my friend, Mark Miller, at Perfect Occasions Costumes and Magic Emporium. The first effect is called Cataclysm by Brian Caswell, the inventor of an effect called Trilogy. This is an awesome mental prediction effect and well worth you purchasing it. It’s very direct, easy to do, resets instantly, and plays well for close up, walk around, or stand up. The second effect is called transporter by my good friend Joshua Jay. A very easy to do card to wallet effect that uses any wallet, any deck of cards (that matched the color of the gimmick), and resets almost instantly. It is really the perfect card to wallet effect and I highly recommend it. The Third effect is called Ghost Tag by Peter Egglet. A great prediction trick that is built right into your key chain so you will always have a magic trick on you as long as you have a deck of cards. It’s a little pricey but can be very effective. Imagination and Magic
Some of the best magic tricks in the world forces the spectator to use their imagination. Tricks like the invisible deck and the brainwave deck have been around for a very long time because of this simple fact. Imagination forces the spectator to see the magic in their own mind and work it out however they can. Imagination can be a very powerful tool in the arsenal of the magician.
