I get kidded a lot because I love card tricks. I have done card tricks all my life and they are what got me into magic and one of the things that keeps me interested. Card tricks are great because of the wide variety of effects. You can have some very simple self working card trick or some knuckle busting effect that requires multiple difficult slight of hand moves. Or anywhere in between and the audience response is always the same. That of complete mystery and a “how did you do that” look on their faces. Card tricks can be used in any magic act from kids shows to adult ones, from professional to beginners skill levels, and from mentalist acts to walk around restaurant magic. they are in my opinion, the most powerful tools in a magician’s arsenal.
